How it works
Roomstash is a simple way to chat online with people on the same network.
When you access roomstash.com into your browser, we create a chatroom specifically for your internet address (known as IP). This way, only people with the same IP as you can access the chatroom.
To make it simplier, just see it this way: one IP equals one Roomstash instance.
FAQ
Can someone with another IP can join my Roomstash?
No.
But registered users are able to come back on the Roomstashes they visited.
What if my IP changes?
You will be attribuated a new Roomstash instance.
How can I change my nickname?
You can change your nickname by clicking on the settings gears on the right vertical sidebar. Roomstash will remember your nickname as long as you are using the same browser session (it works with cookies).
Why should I register?
By registering, you will be able to keep your nickname no matter which browser or session you use.
Can I join multiple Roomstashes?
Registered users can join multiple Roomstashes as long as they visited each one of them while having their IP once.
